Below is a list of classes I teach for your group either in my home or at a location of your choosing. Simply email me with a request and I will work with you to schedule something. I can provide sewing space for up to six sewists in my home or can rent a space in my local village hall. I am also happy to come to your location. There is a minimum of two students per class. Payment in full secures your date. Class fees listed are per student and non-refundable unless I have to cancel. Another time will be set up if an act of God makes the original date unworkable. Quilting with Rulers - "Free Motion Quilting with Training Wheels"
This is a six part class designed to teach you how to use the Westalee (trademarked) Sampler Ruler set. When you are finished, you have all the blocks needed to make a 68" square quilt as you go sampler. You may take one or all of the classes. Each class is $35 plus supplies.
This is a five part class that will teach you the basics of quilting. We choose a pattern together, go to a fabric store to choose fabric, learn to cut, piece, layer, quilt and bind your quilt. When you finish this class, you will have the confidence to tackle any quilt pattern and finish the quilt. You leave class with a completed project. Cost of this class is $75 plus supplies.
Advancing Beginner 1
Learn some additional quilting techniqes as you take this four part class. Half and quarter square triangles, flying geese, partial seams and paper piecing are covered. You can choose to make a table runner, table topper or whole quilt. Work can be completed in class. Quilt is finished in the Advancing Beginner Finishing class. Cost of class is $50 plus supplies.
Advancing Beginner 2
Learn how to make hexagons, applique, curved piecing and Y seams in this four part class. You will be making a table runner or whole quilt in this class. Work can be completed in class. Project is finished in the Advancing Beginner Finishing class. Cost is $50, plus supplies.
Advancing Beginner Finishing
The following finishing techniques are covered in this class: bias binding, mitered borders, pieced backing, layering, free motion quilting, ruler quilting, EQ7 introduction, sashing, and corner blocks. This is a two part class, you will have time to work on your project in class. Cost is $25, plus supplies.
Camden Bowls - Strip Baskets the "New" Way
This is a two part class that will show you how to make the strip baskets or totes with double sided fusible batting. No shaping required! Go home with a finished basket! Cost is $25, plus supplies.
Woven Baskets/Ditty Bags
This is a two part class that will teach you to make strips with batting and weave them into a seamless basket or ditty bag. Ditty bag instruction includes the easiest zipper insertion you will ever do! Go home with a finished basket or bag. Cost is $25, plus supplies.
This is a three hour class to introduce you to Electric Quilt 7. Bring your own laptop and do projects along with me in this virtual quilting design software. This class will show you how to navigate the screens, add icons/tools, find tutorials and give you what you need to become an expert with EQ. Cost of class is $30, EQ7 and computer required.

I am always interested in helping out a quilter with a new technique or project. I can also help you work through a quilting pattern of your choosing, cost of instruction is $20 per hour.
